Here's hoping someone on the list may know of a source of parts for
Mikuni VM26SS (slide - not CV) carbs as fitted to my '79 GS850. I'm
looking for the centre transfer tee piece between nos. 2 & 3 carbs
which the old Suzuki parts specialists (Bran Bardsley, Crooks,
Robinsons) tell me is no longer listed. Anyone know of anybody else
who may have such parts, please? I've also tried Allens who are Mikuni
    specialists and Suzuki Parts Direct.

Many thanks in advance for any help or advice.

    In
have you tried a Kawasaki/Yamaha/Honda dealer as those carbs were
possibly used by them at one time or another (although I think
    Honda used Keihins ??)

Yamaha used the VM26SS carbs on the RD250/350LC range IIRC, the 4L0 and
    4L1 models

Thanks for the ideas Steve & Lozzo. Some more people for me to pester
at Netley Marsh A/J tomorrow! It didn't occur to me to widen my net
    outside of Suzuki.

    Regards

It was on Friday, Sat & Sun. Didn't find a tee piece I could buy, only
on a complete set of catbs which would probably leak anyway but I do
now know what it looks like (my carbs are being refurbished and I
couldn't remember the problem part). Time to start trawling around the
    Kawasaki, Yamaha & Suzuki dealers...
