Mini motards in Australia?

Would love a little, cheap, 125cc motard to get around the city on.

    Maybe like this
    http://www.elliottmc.co.uk/m1109motorcycles.htm

Very common in the UK, but not so around here. Presumably I'd be
looking for a small dirtbike that someone has stuck motard wheels on,
    rather than a from-the-factory jobbie.

Anyone seen any around, or have one for sale?

  2. Motard conversions are usually fairly expensive so I doubt anyone will
have bothered out here. Particularly when you consider the number of
registerable 125cc dirt bikes on the market here is virtually zero once
you take out the 4 stroke Chinese Jianshe thingoes and ag bikes (I'm
assuming an ag bike isn't really going to offer the performance or
looks you're after.) What about a CRF250X with sticky road tyres?

    Cheers,
    Ash

    DT175, 2stroke

or the TT125, comes in a registerable version
but its a 4 stroke so it might only do 60kmh.

what we need is a 100cc 2stroke motard to make the most of the cheap rego.

DT100 aint bad but old and rare.
