All this talk of camera lenses has reminded me that I need a high quality set
    of mini screwdrivers.

Quite willing to spend the right money on the right set.

    Any recommendations?

They meet the main criteria I look for in screwdrivers, namely the tips
aren't silver. That means they'll last a lot longer ime.

Yes. I also have Moody and Lindstrom sets and these much cheaper sets
perform just as well for low torque (instrument/fine electromech/optical)
applications we undertake. I've not killed any tips or screws yet.
You can maybe even have a look before you buy at a Trade Counter.

I rather like the Facom drivers, they feel right in the hand and are
    superbly engineered.

    Pricey, but worth it imo.

Well, I didn't get round to going to rs-online as later that day I mentioned to
a friend that I was looking for a set and he presented me with a set of these
    http://tinyurl.com/39gtlo4 FOC.

I've used them a few times this week and I have to say I'm dead impressed with
them. No mangled screw heads and a nice feel when using them.

    No silver tips either :)
