Minimum Wage - FAIL

    Oo oo, I've done them. Mickey's Ears isn't very difficult though, it's
    just out the way. But I did enjoy the trees down to the reservoir.

    No it's not difficult (although one of the entrances is quite steep).
    It's a very pleasant route, and I enjoy the walk along the ridge as much
    as the descent. The Couloir des Pisteurs is steep and very narrow at the
    top, and a bit of a slog to get to, but spectacular to do. The Pramecou
    is steep and very exposed. I did it in rather hard conditions, and a
    mistake would have been serious. It's the steepest of the three - I
    measured it at 52 degrees; AFAIR the Couloir des Pisteurs was 48 degrees
    at the top.

    45 degrees as I recall. That's not steep, that's just getting interesting
    :)

    The hike makes me laugh, as the holiday crowds getting out the gondola
    wonder what the heck you're up to. Well, they did when I was last there
    in '99. I don't tend to go to French resorts these days.
