You're not kidding. I was at the showroom on Tuesday sitting on a few bikes, they all make my Gixxer feel tiny, the only exception was the Aprillia RSV's. They are quite tall. I really fancied a new factory RSV [1] for just 6999 GBP. If it was a bit smaller and lighter I might have been tempted. [1] The one with all the Ohlins gear.
Character. The 9R's great: fast, reliable (apart from the brakes), easy to ride; but I still miss my Falco. I need another big V-twin sportsbike; I'm not overly keen on the looks of Ducatis, so... OTOH, perhaps a 10R... OTOOH, I can't afford either, so I'll just shut up and stop dreaming.
