I recently acquired a Nokia 6210 that was previously used on the Danish
TeleDanmark network and displays their logo on the screen. Any idea how
I can get rid of it and put summat different on there, even a normal
    Nokia or 02 one?

There's loads of companies on the web doing logos.

Last time I bought one it was £3.

I have a "blank" logo that you can have if you email your mobile number.
I'll txt or send it over.
The idea is that there is a blank logo displayed so therefore no supplier
crap on the screen fekin up your pic etc.

Well since you don't have BT or a cable or owt, I'd phone O2 and ask
them to send you an operator logo.

    Free - my favourite price.
    Download the software from http://www.nokia.com
and transfer a logo from your laptop via IR.

When I lived in Watford, Ant did me a really nice "Kawasaki" logo. Even
sent it to me too. But that was several phones ago [1]

I used to have an R6 logo on my last phone, to match my R6 mug, wallet and
    watch.

    :)

IIRC he did me a ZZR1100 one too. ISTR Monz did the same kind of thing
    at one point.

You say that like its a bad thing.

Not that impressed with my current one, anyway - 6680.

I'm on my *third*, within two months... the other two, one had chronic
bluetooth issues from day one, the other just switched itself off for no
apparent reason one day, and decided it didn't want to wake up again.

If this one continues to just work, I'll be otherwise happy with it - half
decent camera as 1.3 meg phone jobbies go, good battery life compared to
some of its 3G contemporaries, and good user interface etc.

Oh... and it seems to hold onto its signal quite well, as well.

Can't comment there, I've stopped using its fancy features due to sync

If you do go for one of those, make sure it's a recent one (if like Nokia,
they'll date stamp the box to show when it was released from the factory).

The early ones had a firmware problem which IIRC caused it to lock up all
    the time. Easily updated, mind.
    Tut tut. ;-)

Ahem, anyway... I find the keys on it a bit small, when texting - so the odd
mistake tends to happen - big phone, small keys... hmm, they wouldn't be
trying to promote sales of the bluetooth keyboard you can get for it, of
    course. ;-)
It has one of those, and loads of other shite I rarely use besides, never
mind the fact because it runs on Symbian technology, there's loads of other
stuff out there for it, as well.

As I said, if it actually just gets on with the job, and doesn't decide to
give up on life so easily as the two before it, I'd actually recommend it,
not least when you compare it to some of the other shite they serve up on
3 - I had a Motorola E1000 before it, and it was total shite.

SO has the one of the LG flip jobbies... 8120?

Seems 'ok', but locks up now and again, and isn't too hot at holding onto
the signal, not least when you're mid call.
