I've never had an 88 Shadow....that must be someone else you're
    thinking of.

I ride a Hurricane and about to be riding a Blackbird (in a week).

Where did you get the idea I've ever had an 88 Shadow?

I first started posting in '95 right when it was started up. I used an
alias based on a Bob Segar tune.

Here's where Mr. Hart comes on to say:

What was were alias Bill?We all wanna know.

    (atempts to inform EdHart)
Damn, Ed.. Keep up.. I've never used an "alias" in my life..

And Bill only Big Ed can get away with ''Top Posting '' on this fine
    group of 6 or 8.
    And the reason why?

    Well I am here to tell ya! (;~}

It is the ''Where does a Bear Shit in the Woods, concept.''

Wait'll I get these boots dusted off and the badge shined up again..
When I commence to exercise my authority as Illustrious Grand Wiz-
ardly High Sheriff and Moderator of tx.motorcycles.. I will be taking
dead aim on Big Ed and his top posting.. That old saying about "Be
careful what you wish for" could never be more true, than in this case..
As much as I think of Big Ed.. he'd just have to conform or suffer the
consequences.. My solemn and sworn duty comes first.. Thank you for
    your support..

I keep telling y'all if y'all would get a good sportbike (like me...or
just buy mine) that you wouldn't have all these problems with the
    wind...

Then again, you wouldn't be able to buy those girly tires for the
    motorcycle... <g>

Might need a posse, to attempt to teach big Ed a lesson or two, with his

Doesn't make much sense to you, does it?

A sportbike is designed to cut through high winds....that wind doesn't
stand still at 100+mph you know.

I guess it's tough to explain to someone who's beefiest motorcycle was
in the form of an entertainment center wall unit.

Taking from Jay Leno, it's kind of like explaining sex to an
alien...either you get this or you don't.

  16. ?????? Moderators are for children. There are NO
children here. Things get loud and things get rude
but still they settle down eventually. There's an
occasional rumble the rare grumble but rarely is
anything meant seriously. Anyway it's just the
kruizer crowd whining that everyone else picks on
them. ;^) I mean just because those few who ride
motorcycles meant to go further than bar to bar
can see FURTHER down the road than anyone is no
    reason to be jealous. ;^)

Now on a more serious note "LIGHTEN UP FRANCIS!"

History does not record anywhere at any time a
religion that has any rational basis. Religion is
a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up
to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff,
most people do have a religion and spend time and
money on it and seem to derive considerable
    pleasure from fiddling with it.

BJ it used to be quiet a bit bigger...when it quit
being FUN I left. I prefer the end of a 24hr ride
hangout, trash talking good time to "chrome maker"
    preference. Discussion/arguments about which brake
pad works best...I still like all y'all though.
Good people is good people, some just require a
little more attention to know what they are all
    about.
