It's just that, in order to screw some more cash out of the great
unwashed, I wanted to release pics of The Big Shave on our website
first - however, as Elly was in shock at the event, she didn't
actually get any ...

tomorrow, once the feeling of absolute exhaustion has abated after a
good night's kip.

Should anybody feel the need to chuck a few quid towards the
rebuilding of the Team UKRM bike after Champ's punting off, it will be
appreciated and we will make it as easy as possible.

I would like to mention to the doomsayers - my lid still fits nicely,
with Buff in place as a snood, although I have shortened the chinstrap
(seatbelt type, see) by 10mm or so. I was a bit worried about it
lifting at speed, but it was tested on the M1 and no lift was
encountered, despite the upward airflow off the tankbag.

No worries, Rog. I should have made specific mention of it last night
- or even this morning - but it slipped my mind in the heat of the
