They buy crashed ones and rebuild usually.

They wreck a lot of Euro stuff, so have the bits on hand.

Some people hate 'em, but I've always had good dealings with them.

Fowles Auctions for the majority stuff.
Frank's a well known face there.
Not all that well regarded within the trade, though.
    cheers

    trx850's are great

i went looking around for a another one to go with the yzf750r on the w/e
    alas the quality of bikes
left me underwhelmed, tho i could still see one making a neat unfaired cafe
    racer

A friend from Mildura has had one for the last six months, and absolutely
loves it. He had a Ducati 900SS as his previous roadbike, and says the TRX
would shit on it in everyway except pose value (there's a lot of Italians
    around Mildura).

  11. Mmmmm, Mr."Cut-N-Shut" of the 2 wheel field

I thought write-offs where not allowed to be re-registered?
I can imagine the importers would hate what they are doing , but stiff its a
free market economy so they can get away with it

Depends on the writeoff. Some can be, some can't. And the "can't" can
be with the right hoops being jumped through.
