They're rather good. I'd like to see him do a lot more.

Indeed. But it would be nice to know where each photo was taken.

I thought I recognised some of the places. 6th from the bottom looks
like Heroes Square in Budapest but having now checked, it's not. The
bottom one I'm pretty sure is in the Czech Republic but I can't remember
if it's in Prague, Tabor or another town. All I know is I've filmed from
    the top of it.

A couple of them are definitely in moscow, from the signs, and others
also have Russian writing visible, so it's conceivable that they all
    are.

  14. Very interesting set of images. It'd be good to see that technique or
concept used in London - even if it was simply merging old and new in an
image rather than reminders of wartime.

I think the phrase "Not only do we get to experience places like Berlin,
Prague, and Vienna in ways we could have never imagined" gives it away.

    2nd photo is Berlin; 3rd is Vienna (see the number plates); 4th Berlin;
    5th, 6th and 7th Prague (I think). I got bored after that...

  16. If you go to his original web-site (URL posted in ye Shedde) that
one is captioned "Praga" in Cyrillic. Beware though, his site takes much
longer to load; it would appear that the blog site resized the photos (or
maybe they were still in my cache).

  20. Are you suggesting that WUN was around during the war and acting as an
    unofficial wartime photographer?

If so, I think that's a bloody cheek. He's not *that* old you know!
