Did anyone else watch Piers Morgan in Shanghai last night on ITV?
    www.easier.com/64624-piers-morgan-shanghai.html

It is truly amazing what is going on there. I guess we are somewhat remote
from news of it generally because of the huge language and scripting
    barriers.

Incredible how they have their heads down getting on with things while in
the West we are consumed by sociopolitical divisions. Death penalty for
some driving offences though <strokes chin> probably beyond my comfort zone
;o) I expect they will have single Conurbations soon enough with the
population and financial turnover of the whole of GB.

I don't know anyone who has moved there though, excepting the occasional EFL
trip by the likes of VaM. I wonder how people who do find it? If I had
the sort of experience and skill sets of Bonners I'd have to seriously
    consider a spell there.

How long ago? It had been transformed in stages over 10 years and they are
about to ban smoking in public.

  8. I haven't been to Shanghai. I might be visiting there and Hong Kong
semi-regularly from November, as there are sites there that fall in
    the scope of my project.

My personal experience of the hong kong Chinese has been less than
    positive.

Utter fucking cunting bastards, genocide would be too good for them.

Heh, it's an oft told saga in these parts.

If you're really interested log on to the Oxford Mail website and
interrogate their archive with search strings such as neighbour, Ho,
Burden, and you'll get the general picture.

It's ok because they probably feel the same about British people in
general after the way Dan's persecuted them.
