Well, if you have decent mechanic he'll do the additional work for the
annual service as part of another service. But I guess that's easier if
you're having 3-4 services done a year like I do...

I can see a certain type of dealer relishing in the additional work the
annual brings in, but that's another reason as to why not to go to a
main dealer.

 

Booked in for wheel circuits, ABS flush and clutch fluid.

Agreed with me that as the bike's done less than a thousand miles since
the last annual it's fairly pointless to do the oils, which is
reassuringly pragmatic.

T has pointed out that the day I've booked it in is the day we return
from holiday and I'm unlikely to be home much before 5am, so getting to
Cardiff for 9am might be a giggle, but hey ho.

 

I'm sure Mike will find you a cardboard box to have a kip in whilst he
twiddles the spanners...
