Bandit failed it's MOT today due to the dipped beam being too 'high', turned out the bulb and bulb 'chasis' had become dislodged, probably due to me going over a pot hole recently. Anyhow, the projected light was 'a little too high', said the tester. Brought the bike home and going to give it a once over tonight before handing it back in tomorrow, question is, how do I check the light is within the legal limit? What is the spec? When I popped the bulb back in as it should be, the projected light only went down a matter of 2 inches as projected when the bike was 2 feet back from a wall. Does anyone know what the testers are looking for? P.S I know I can google for this but I get a better ripping when I request these simple things on UKRM!
