MOT/mechanic in Derby?

Having moved yet again, I'm on the lookout for a reputable place to
get a service/MOT on the Bandit. It'll be it's first MOT, and given
the abuse it's had over the past couple of years, it'll likely need
    bits doing to scrape through

The things I'm most worried about it failing on are a ding in the
front wheel rim and a slightly dragging front brake

I know there are a few folks round here who are familiar with the
Derby area, so recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

Yes, but don't tell anyone, I think I'm getting away with it so far

For MOT's I use Alan's Test Centre on Shaftsbury St. They Only do
    MOT's though.

For servicing I use Pidcocks, who are a Suzuki and Kawasaki main
    Dealer. They're on Manor Road.

There's also a little independant workshop on London Road, not far
from the hospital.. Don't know the name and haven't used them before
but popped my head round the door once when I was after braided hoses
and they seemed enthusiastic and helpful, and had a nicely set up
    workshop.

Oh for parts, Mick Bull Motorcycles is worth mentioning.. he's just an
old geezer selling parts out of his industial unit on canal street,
but seems to have at least one of everything in stock, and is cheap as
    chips..

That one is The Motorcycle Workshop, there's also Clarkes on The Spot
who lent me a petrol can for the petrol muppet incident just before
breaking the brake lever back in January and that one on Normanton
Road that failed the CG a few years back, no idea if he's still there.
    Mick is lovely.

I was going to refute this but I don't think I'd be convincing. Still
I suppose I had to hang my jaded man hater hat up sometime. Or at
least put it into storage for a while.
    You'd lose the bet.
