Taking the bike in for MOT this morning. As this is my first visit to a
testing station for about 10 years I take it I still only need to take the
bike and a wad of cash. I was just wondering if I need to take any
documentation. I will be leaving home before they open so can't ring them to
    find out.

    Cheers,

Just the bike and the cash.
You could take the previous MOT if it has a week or so still to run
so they can post-date the certificate, and some paper towels to wipe
the fork oil off so they don't notice the seals are leaking. :)

  3. Just the bike and cash will be enough.

I thought you had to have the V5?

Ah I had to have the V5 because the powder coating on the B12 frame obscured
    the frame number slightly.

My MOT place asks for either - makes it easier to find the frame and engine
numbers. I don't think there's any legal requirement to present either
    document, though.

No. Not needed on 2 bike & 1 car MOTs in the last 2 years.

As Vass stated, it speeded things up in the early days as the database was
sometimes wrong and/or the operators were poorly trained.
