Ok, money where the mouth time people.

can bet it will be bitterly cold at least.

    who will win?

If it was wet then it'd become more a rider's race and less a technology
race - hence if it's pissing down I reckon Vermeulen will punt into the
    top 5.

    WET prediction
Rossi will win but there'll be a couple who'd give him a hard time
    - Olivier Jacque on his previous form in the wet (was it China ?) 3rd or 4th
    - Edwards on the podium
    - Vermeulen in about 5th or 6th (better if one of those I've just listed
    crash)
    - Gibbers podium
    - Capirossi in the 5

    Dry
    Rossi,Capirossi,Gibernau,Edwards,Checa,Vermeulen,Biaggi,Jacques.
In roughly that order give or take a place.

    JL
(confidence in Vermeulen on the basis of 04's wild card SBK ride and his
performance this year, he's a high probability of a crash though - he's
going to want a good result a LOT, and I doubt he's going to care about
    crashing a lot)

Even the BoM aren't silly enough to make predictions more than 4 days in
    advance.

But probably nothing on the level of Norick Abe's first wildcard ride.
What a ripper spectacle that was.

Actually I'm going to update that, in fairness to Melandri, he's got to
be a chance for a top 5 finish on his recent form, Gibbers and Melandri
will be battling over 3rd and 4th with Edwards and Checa.

Sad to say but someone will get within 200mtrs of Gibbers while he is
in lead, and he will crash.
