I'm pretty sure Sky got it right last year, but just a heads up to check
your Sky+ recodings for the MotoGP
on Sunday as we change the clocks Saturday night.

This was a public inform..... blah blah etc.etc.

I didn't realise it was summer already. At least the clock on my bike
will be showing the correct time again.

That reminds me, I must get round to setting the clock on mine.

And a lap time is just a bad idea. I find myself timing myself to
work. Not a problem at the mo when I'm running it in, but afterwards
I'll have to keep going for a personal best.

Lap timers are also a bad thing on a trackday, especially when the
numpty rider decides that the bridge over the start - finish straight
at Silverstone is a good marker point.

Mine's fully sorted for summer after this afternoons efforts. It's had
an oil filter change and 3l of fully synthetic, a quick clean, a spray
over with some of that snottoiler stuff and the chain lubed. I might
check the tyre pressures tomorrow but I normally rely on the tyres
    holding pressure between changes.

I also fitted some Oxford hot hands heated over-grips in the vain hope
that my fingers won't turn to ice when I thrash it to Bristol and back
at the beginning of next week.

Yeah, mine too. Maybe it'll start to read in MPH at the same time.

Maybe I shouldn't read that page in the manual.

You won't need to. If you're anything like me you'll be turning it on
    instead of the 'lights'.

I'll be setting mine running from the gooseneck to the creg a few
times this year just for the sake of it. I did it a couple of times
last year but can't remember what the times were.

Where they're a menace is when you're stupid enough to have somewhere
close to a corner as your marker and then you have a look as soon as
you've pressed the button. Full throttle on a 10R doesn't leave much
time to press the button, look at the figure, have a "**** I'm
fast/shit" moment and then brake for the corner without any panic.
