Right then, testing's done and dusted... who's going to walk the walk?
Don't forget, Qatar is a Saturday race.

Can Hayden pull the biggest suprise of his career and hold onto #1?
    Will Rossi trounce the opposition?
    Can Pedrosa fulfill his potential?
Capirossi's last chance for the crown?
What about Edwards, who's been fast all winter?

Anyone think that anyone else is in with a shout?

    Prace bets now.

2 chances. None and **** all.
I don't know about trounce, but I reckon he's still the one to beat.
If Hayden doesn't wipe him out, there's a distinct possibility.
    I don't see it.
10-1 says he'll fall at the first hurdle, then struggle to say in
contention. A high mid fielder with a podium or two if he doesn't collapse
under pressure. No chance of the title.
Nah. It'll be between Pedrosa and Rossi. Well at least I think so. Hayden
*may* fight for podiums with Edwards, but neither of them are as good as
they think they are so it could all end in tears for both of 'em.

Yes, we all hate them for what they're doing to the world, but that's no
reason to say that Hayden's a one-shot wonder.

NOTE: The following contains some Qatar spoilers.

heh... I was thinking (switching classes for a moment) more of Pogialli,
    or even Luthi.
    Bookies agree.
I know it's only 1 race, but if he carries on like that, then not
likely. I wondered if his lack of braking ability was down to lack of
strength or just being shit at it.
    Seems true so far.
I really like Edwards, but if ever a guy promised so much and returned
so little, it has to be him. Last season, he was fast in winter, won
the Jerez test BMW, and didn't deliver in the season.

I was hoping it wouldn't be the same this year.
Good call. That Duc was fast.

    Well batted that man.

I agree with the sentiment though; he is bloody quick
but he's got to string a whole load of it together
and not fall off to make the difference.

But by christ the new bike is quick!

Just read on crash.net that he had problems with his tyre and also saved a
crash by using his knee and elbow to stay upright[1]. We'll see at Jerez.

[1] Talking of which: best new toy for 2007 has to be the angle-o-meter.
Watching it get to 55 degrees was cool enough, but when it peaked over to
70 degrees, that was fucking mental.

Down to 800cc for safety reasons? My arse. Still topping 200mph,
cornering like never before and lap times falling all over the place.

I wonder if I could fit one on the Wing. Or the Ural.

A little card-board cutout stuck to the intruments with a right-angle
crayoned on it should do the trick.

You could fit the factory that makes 'em on a Wing and still leave room for
    a Ural.

The Wing's already got one. When it's at 45deg, it cuts the fuel off.
