MotoGP Wet Rules

    As I predicted, somebody (John Hopkins) went into the pits at the end of lap
    one to change to his spare bike. Not because weather conditions had changed,
    or even to change to a different tyre, but because the rules allowed him to.
    Not that it did him any good.

    I assume this is meant to be some kind of slight, but I don't get it. It was
    a follow up from a previous thread.
    There is an official MotoGP web site and you pay for a subscription? I
    watched it live on Fox, and again later.

    Yup. www.motogp.com . Just thought you got the impression that he
    changed bikes just because the rules allowed him to from the official site.
