MOTORCYCLE BATTERY - Anybody tried these -

    She charged me $26 USD:
    "Hello Clem, We can only flat rate it through the US Postal Service at
    $26.00 Let me know...Terri"
    I think she undercharged the freight but the exchange-rate was much worse
    then so I paid about $100AU all up.

    Buying the battery is only one part of the exercise. Battery maintenance,
    keeping the thing topped up and placing it on trickle charge if the bike is
    not used for more than two weeks will extend the life. Replacing the
    battery in autumn when you consider it is approaching the end of life will
    assure reliability through winter.

    I agree about maintenance. Allowing a battery to sit without charge and get
    lower and lower is not good for it.
    Buy a low capacity charger if you don't ride every week or two. It will pay
    for itself with the first battery it saves.

    I have a Swedish brand called Ctek. They have electronics that allows you to
    leave them on 24/7 and they won't cook your battery.
    The model I bought even reserects "dead" batteries.
