Moving into uncharted territory - uk.rec.sheds

  1. tried that with the SOBoxer when I hauled 'er out of the shed for the first
time this year. no startee on kickstarter, had a half-hearted attempt at
pushing it, but this place is as flat as a flat thing.

hunted in the shed, found starter motor and even the correct button for the
handlebars, with its wiring. Fitted same, found big battery and jump leads,
found that one of the wires on the starter relay was attached wrongly, put
it right, pressed the button and away she went.

now that she's been used a bit and the battery is reasonably charged, she'll
crank and start from the (half-original-size) battery on board, somewhat to
    my surprise.

  2. This would be the dented and crooked one you sat on earlier, right?

I prefer a rotary cutter... Pity I can't use it on Netscape.

A fitting end to the weekend that was. Any clues as to what causes it
    to refuse to start yet?

Alright then, you're absolved by virtue of an excellent excuse.
