Umm, thats some really great bondage you have going there.... But really,
    leave the kids outa it.

A very dodgy looking character once lent me the priceless gem that 2 disk
locks (one on each wheel) will prevent almost all bike theft as most thieves
aren't prepared to pick the whole bike up and carry it away. With only 1
lock (on either wheel), it's easy to knock it into neutral (if you've locked
the front) and wheel her away. 2 locks will make life *much* harder for the
    &$%^#*$ $(*#&$@* @#$(@!!@# (*&&%%^@s.

    Hope this is useful.

  3. The thing which cracks me up the most about it tho is the nice little
    warning label...
"WARNING: Remove lock before operating vehicle"

    Well D'uH

    Josh - ZX9R

I got one of those D shackle locks too..big heavy duty thing. Too bulky to
carry around is my only problem with it.... but they retail for near to and
even over $100 now. But i got my disck lock (Kryptonite brand) from
Southport Yamaha* for roughly $39.95. Its yellow...haha.

    Josh - ZX9R

    * - Southport Yamaha...umm...some street in southport qld....haha

I have a U lock and bought it from a cycle shop
$60 but that was 5 years ago
U lock is super tough and more visible than a disk lock.

In Sydney CBD it's those friggin little scooters that cause the trouble.
They park in between us "real" bikes.
I had one last week, that as I was locking up my bike he parked that close
that he couldn't get off it on my side ( there was still 25+ meters of
    parking spots left).

The scooter riders seem to put them on the centre stand and then carry it
into the spot. and walk away.

P.S. Can anyone tell me why it's safer to ride a scooter?
I mean, I see chicks in their heels and skirts walk up, put on the helmet
    and ride off.
Blokes do the same ( without the heels & skirts ) with full business suits
    on.
No gloves, No protective jacket, No boots ( or any protective shoes )....

It's funny you know, the Swedes would pull out a long list of things they beat
the Norwegians in and characterise them as uncouth uneducated herring fishermen

Some years ago I was going to TAFE in the evenings, and car parking
spaces were at a premium. I noticed on a few evenings that several
bikes had been moved around inside the signposted motorcycle parking
area (in the time between my parking and returning from class), and
some dickhead in an older Landcruiser was taking up the space this
    created.

A few lines marked on his doors with a key soon sorted that bullshit
    out.

It is a cost to benifit thing... some people simply are not worth

    ....snip
No, Irish and Welsh are Celts: middle Europe. Although there were a slug of
Vikings hit Ireland at various times, the primary Viking strong hold on the main
island was up north near the scottish border as I recall. I don't think there
was too much action in the Southwest corner.
