I wanted to combine all my policies, because I was sure it would be
cheaper. Last year I paid 400 for the CBR and 300 for the Bandit (fully
comp), and 80 for the CD (TPO). I had been quoted between 400 and 1200
    for the VFR (fully comp).

Background: I'm 28 and live in suburbia. The bikes are garaged. Good
job the insurance companies don't ask where I keep the keys. I have
four years NCD (as of today - well done me). I've been riding 8 years.

I asked for suggestions here on who did multi-bike policies. Here's the
    results.

    CIS don't do multibike policies
Biketeam don't do more than two performance bikes, and maximum of three
    bikes.
Carole Nash, all four bikes: 1265ukp
Footman James, all four bikes: 1130ukp
Mitchell & Partners, all four bikes: 850ukp
Motorcycle Direct, the three modern bikes: 720ukp

So I've insured the CD for 50 quid and I'm still up on the deal.

I'm paying 329ukp for the CBR and I asked about a multibike with the RS.
The quote was 455ukp for both or just 69ukp for the RS on it's own, eh? I
    don't understand insurance co's.

I like MD - been the cheapest for me for a few years, and I've never had
a covernote. IME they get the policy+certificate out to you in less
time than it takes others to get a covernote out.

  5. Probably they're thinking if you ride both bikes at the same time,
you're more likely to do them or you some damage. I mean, face it -
are you a tried and tested circus/stunt performer? No. See, the logic
is there, you just have to look long and hard for it.

My policy is up this month, IIRC. I'll bear it in mind.
