    Oooh, that's tempting.

And, by return, this is one of the best Live DVDs I've seen:

Unsurprising, given how good they were as a live band. First saw them at
the Boardwalk in Manchester, last at Brixton Academy, never anything less
    than phenomenal gigs.

I bought it as a 'Perfect Partner' deal with the double CD. It was a bit
cheaper earlier in the week, though.
Looks good. Might have to buy that, too.
Regrettably, I only saw them once - at Manchester GMEX. You're right,
    though - awesome live gig.

Never saw anyone there, it had only just opened when I left Manchester (was
    at the Uni).

I was up there a couple of weeks ago, stayed in the new Hilton. Fire alarm
went off at 6.30am, had to run down 14 flights. Hundreds of women flocking
around in their nightwear, dreadful it was.

I saw the Happy Mondays and 808 State there, too.
Heh. You did that deliberately, didn't you?

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

I didn't have much choice but to wake up totally, what with the world's
loudest fire alarm and some chap shouting 'Emergency! This is an Emergency!
This is not a drill!' repeatedly over the tannoy. Fair put the wind up
everyone, which I guess is the point.
