Given that all the blokes had the same name, didn't you think it likely
that the backing singers might all share the same name?

  3. I like this one. Can we keep him?

Add in the new Kaipa and a few other prog bits and I'm a happy man..

  4. Fear of a Dark Planet.

    It's good.

If you like that you might like Unitopia (just got it - less direct
than PTree but still good). I also got a CD by a band called Tinyfish
    which is quite good.

Oh - and if you like complex heavy prog the new Kaipa (Angling
Feelings) is very very good. I think one of the speakers in the car has
    just burnt out..

Only if the two of you promise to stay in the corner and keep quiet.

  6. Heh. I nearly did a 'Look Phil, there's another one' post.

  7. Another band a bit like PT even down to the initials, is Pineapple
    Thief. Great stuff.
Ditto. And that's with an external amp. I was hoping that with more
power, blowing speakers would be a thing of the past.

I've had some recommendations from last.fm - haven't had time to check
them out yet. I've got most of them though. Adagio sound promising. I
dislike much prog metal but these guys sound pretty classy. As do
Masters of Reality. The stoner rock channel on last.fm puts out some
    great stuff.

  8. My stereo already puts out more power than the speakers can handle - if
I turn it up too far the bass pushes the speakers into clipping and the
amp cuts the speakers out altogether :-(
I've just signed up with them. I have yet to investigate.

Have you got your Summers End prog festival tickets yet? Lots of good
bands over a weekend in (sadly) Wolverhampton..
