The Spazztrakka SR250 passed the MOT yesterday.

Today was spent finishing off a service and MOT prep on a mate's Gixer
750 and fitting a new wiring loom to my SV650. It's nice when the bike
fires up first press of the button after work like that.

Fucking Datatools, try removing a System 3 and find out just how much
original wiring loom has been chopped out by the fitters. It made it
almost impossible to get running again without major and lengthy
remedial work, so I bought a complete loom off ebay instead. 2 hours and
30 quid saved me an awful lot of work and hassle trying to rebuild the
    old one.

2003 model naked SV650, bought as slight accident damaged last weekend.
Plan is to fit a Gixer 750K3/K4 fairing/ race seat unit and a high level
race can and use it as a track bike. I'm toying with the idea of fitting
the USD forks and yokes from my Gixer into it too - they go straight in.

You're not the first person to suggest that, nor the second or third -
it's a serious consideration at the moment.

Why not indeed, if you can cope with the stress invoked by HM Revenue &
Excise. Lots of dealers going bust but a really good, helpful friendly
and well publicised shop could still prosper.

These guys in Leeds www.thundercity.co.uk/index.asp are selling bikes
    averaging £20K a pop.

The downside may be that you'll end up having a lot of UKRMers as
