    Same here, even to the extent of buying a stock exhaust for my R1 via
    Ebay. The original wasn't too bad, but I've heard enough bikes
    screaming up through the gears round here to know that the noise
    travels a hell of a long way. I can also well recall being in the Lake
    District and hearing some bike exhaust echoing off the hills; it was
    just so inappropriate.
