....was around the block on Junior.
I got him out of the garage, fired him up, then putt-putted around the block a few times.

It's plain to see that I need to have my wrist fixed right before I do any real riding.
I would need an awful lot of tylenol to do more than a few miles.
    dang.
Surgery the morning of the 24th, then 6 weeks of cast-on, a few weeks of PT, then....
I think I will try to finish that Saturday AM run to the Bovine Bakery.
I'll post an invitation that weekend, if anyone wants to ride shotgun, I'll buy the coffee.
I figure that ought to be right around the first big rainstorm of the season!

At this point, the only consoling thought may be that you can clearly
see the path and it looks like it's headed in the right direction. Hang
    in there!

    Getting antsy, are we?
I thought I'd ride to my writing class yesterday. Got down to the
freeway onramp and came home. Sigh. We are wasting a lot of riding time
due to the malperformance of our meat bodies. I thought, since my arm
feels fairly good, I'd be able to put that kind of pressure on it.
I was wrong. Came home, parked the bike, wiped away a tear and went in
    to take a pain pill.

Maybe next week. I'm going crazy here. I did manage to lay down some
more words on the sequel to my novel. Halfway done at 30,000 words!

Gawd, if it weren't for writing, I'd be insane by now, stuck here with
no transpo I can use. 'Live to write, ride to live' or summat.

Hope you get your wrist fixed soon!

It's amazing what you can do if you have a determined spouse and a lot
    of tylenol...
