MZ

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Zebee Johnstone, Mar 7, 2009.

  1. The infamous MZ may be for sale... Needs a new piston, but the new one
comes with it, and it's a quick and easy job. THe owner just hasn't
    found a suitable round tuit.

I don't have the garage room else I'd buy it! Always was a good commuter,
has hard panniers and a rack for a gearsack with a ventura style low/high
bar setup. THis bike has been over most of Eastern Australia in that
    slow but sure MZ way.

I have no price, I'll enquire if anyone's genuinely interested.

    The bike is in Adelaide.

If you don't know what an ETZ 250 MZ is, then you probably won't want
    it...

Got to love for sale adverts where the seller points out a fault with
the item and declares the repair to be a quick and easy job... ...but
not quick and easy enough for them to perform or arrange themselves :p

He's never done it before, whereas I have :)

So I know it's quick and easy, he doesn't.

I have thought about this... I don't have a spare 'rount tuit' either,
and by the time I went to Adelaide and back with a car and trailer I'd
    need a couple of em.

    So... pass.

    Phhft! Bloody modern bikes.

I learned on a 250 Trophy - mum used to think I had stolen her vacuum
    cleaner :)
