There's a poster on a Radio 4 Archers forum who alludes to a famous
guitar playing relative but won't say who he is. This is driving my
wife insane.

The clues are as follows:

Over 40 [assumption]

Been on Parkinson's chat show

On another chat show he quipped that his passport should read
"International Rock God" under occupation.

Welsh connection: Either nationality or resident

Owns a Labradoodle dog

Archers fan

Allegedly involved in a 'public indecency' arrest situation with girl
he later married

Led Zep members were guests at his wedding

Known for his leather jackets

I thought that too, but assumed the info would have said "bassist". I bet it
is him too.

 

No mention of cornering on the brakes, so possibly not.

 

I think Jimmy Page famously went out with an underage groupie but didn't
marry her, had a Zoso jacket which might have been leather(?), probably been
on Parky, wrote song about cottage in Wales and probably had LZ members at
wedding. And over 40. Labradoodle probably rules him out, though.

 

Unless Labradoodle is the name of his haircut ...
