    I rarely get to write proposals around things my co. sells; I've only
    worked on this twice for very large tenders. I do like making proposals
    around organisational design though. Also find standards fun (when I've
    time to be involved).

    Bid-team hours, as I remember them. I've actually enjoyed that kind of
    thing so long as I'm writing things I know or believe to be 100% the
    truth. Sales weasels and I haven't always seen eye to eye, you could
    say.

    Not done that kind of thing in a while, but didn't dislike it.

    happy to help. I think your question should have been "what are
    proposals?".

    The answer to which is "documents in which you propose things". In my
    case, generally these are "proposals to match a set of technology to
    set of business requirements". Other people's mileage will vary.
