    been away from two wheelers for several years.

    looking for what one would call a start over bike.

    your thoughts on,

    1997 Honda Shadow - ONLY 10K Miles - $2000
    one owner bike never been down.

    What might be some questions I should ask the owner?

    The Shadow is good bike to get back into riding. It's light, versatile
    and doesn't cost much. I'll agree to having it inspected if you can
    find someone that'll do it in a reasonable time frame. Not much really
    goes wrong with Honda's. The gears 'clunk' fairly loud so be prepared
    for that; it doesn't mean anything is wrong. It's a Honda thing. I
    think you'd enjoy it.
