That's almost cool. Which probably means I'm sad, and going to get lambasted to hell. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) 116 Giulietta 3.0l Sprint 1.7 GTV TS GT 3.2 V6 Triumph Sprint ST 1050: It's blue, see. www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
Quite. Wouldn't it be illegal to have non-standard lights on a motorcycle jacket of that sort anyway?
Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Cab I'm really not sure. AIUI, those stupid flashing red lights are illegal if attached to a bicycle, but not if attached to the pedalphile.
Wicked Uncle Nigel wibbled forthrightly: Well, I remember a mate of mine being pulled up on his Wing years ago, as his lights were non-standard and were a bit bling. I just reckon the officer had good taste.
Not for me but I did spot on the same page http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2009/10/30/honda-cbx-v12-by-andreas-ge orgeades/ Not sure whether it's a gingerish chrome or not.
My pushbike tail light is a legal flasher, apparently - in that at least one of the several LEDs is always lit and therefore there is no 'dark phase'. I like the flashing lights - they aren't bright enough to dazzle or even distract much, and they really draw drivers' attention to the presence of a pushbike. What I don't like much is the new breed of front lights - the bright white flashing jobbies are highly fixatable onnable, and the super-bright headlamps used by the commuting types are violently dazzling at times.
Oh I'm not paranoid, I just know where my tastes lie with respect to the majority of UKRM -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) 116 Giulietta 3.0l Sprint 1.7 GTV TS GT 3.2 V6 Triumph Sprint ST 1050: It's blue, see. www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
