Negative inflation?

    Tried it again with some rejigged figures and it seems that the larger
    the outstanding mortgage, the lower the figures. So I guess it must
    somehow be factoring in an assumed property price growth higher than
    current mortgage rates. Which sounds like bollocks to me in the
    current economic climate.

    Quite possible. Ours is +4.6% with no mortgage.

    +4.4% for me.

    I suspect not having a mortgage doesn't help. For a change.
