It wouldn't be a Chituma CTM 125, would it now?

Spot on ER-5 it is... seems like a rocketship after my Enfield Bullet and
    I'm still running in.

Good bike - I sold mine after 7 years only after buying a KLE500. I prefer
the sit up and beg position for long runs now the knees are less limber.

You can get them sweet and sour(1) ready meals in Spar these days, you
know. Aisle three - the aisle with the Chinese motorbikes at the end,
piled up in a big pyramid of BOGOFs. Looks like a crash at a Saigon
    intersection.

    1. Sweet and sour only available in English Spars - Welsh ones only
carry the sour and sour variety.

My reason for buying the ER-5 was that I find it comfortable for my iffy
back, bit like my old Bullet. Also the fact that the ER cost me £2500 OTR
brand new with two years warranty.

Looked at the KLE myself, but it was a bit too tall for me, but only another
£500 a the time of order.

I also considered another Bandit but the ER is quite a bit lighter.

Oh well see how this one goes, hopefully it will be reliable?

  11. My first "big" bike was a GPZ500s which I bought new back in 1989. I still
have fond memories of that bike though I'd never ride another one (I'd
    rather keep the fond memories).

Enjoy your new bike (sounds like you already are).

It will seem powerful compared to an ER5.

I've always fancied a ride on an ER5.

    That's quite an amazing deal.
    Too tall for me.
They are, that's why training schools use them.

How could anyone forget something so fashionable & iconic? Without your
lead, I may never have bought Pinkie[1].
    Pah - splitter!

Yes I got a good deal really, put a deposit down when it was mid winter and
picked it up on the 07 plate.

Although that particular company are now listing them on their website for
    £3000.
