I suppose that's the closest I can get to "equality" <snigger>.... I was
having another 'Life of Brian' moment when I realised I wouldn't get the
offer of the kick that everyone else gets with their threefiddy! It's all
about the principle of the thing <snigger>

FRANCIS: Why are you always on about women, Stan?
STAN: ...I want to be one.
    FRANCIS: ... What?
STAN: I want to be a woman. From now on I want you all to call me Loretta.
    REG: What!?
STAN: It's my right as a man.
JUDITH: Why do you want to be Loretta, Stan?
STAN: I want to have babies.
REG: You want to have babies????!!!
STAN: It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.
REG: But you can't have babies.
    STAN: Don't you oppress me.
REG: I'm not oppressing you, Stan - you haven't got a womb. Where's the
foetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?
    __Stan starts crying.__
JUDITH: Here! I've got an idea. Suppose you agree that he can't actually
have babies, not having a womb, which is nobody's fault, not even the
Romans', but that he can have the _right_ to have babies.

Pretty much any monoshock bike can be lowered if you want to spend
some money (there's undoubtably one or two that can't but it's going
to be a fairly short list). Getting the seat cut down and having the
foam replaced with a gel insert is lower cost and usually sufficient
    for most.

Most of the Beemers come with a shortarse seat option (I doubt the GS'
do but most of the rest tend to - certainly at least one of the F650
and the R12's do). Anything with a standard seat (pillion and rider in
the one seat plate) rather than a sportsbike style seat, can usually
be cut down far enough for most.

Also don't get fixated on seat height alone - suspension travel and
narrowness of seat also matter heaps - I can touch comfortably on a
KTM super duke (845mm seat height) whereas the 955 Daytona (835mm) has
me dangling both legs in the breeze...

The R1200GS has an adjustable height seat, three heights available from
memory. the F650CS comes with an optional lower seat and Jo also
replaced the dogbone linkage in the suspension. The F800S/ST has
optional lower seat but the suspension is a direct mount arrangement
with no linkage so not sure what the options for extra lowering on that
one are. After Jo had a sit on one at the bike expo it dropped down the
    list of potential next bikes.
