New bike ideas

Okay folks, I'm pretty settled on the idea of a new Firestorm but Nev
recently gave me the idea of a SL1000 Falco. Any other twins of that ilk you
can suggest to me?

Hmm, VTR, Falco, SV1000, ST2...ummm Buell ?

Of those I'd take the SV.

I actually said (IMHO) the Falco was a better bike to ride but on a bang for
buck basis the Firestorm was a better buy.

performance bikes (pom mag - yellow trump daytona 600 on cover) does review
between firestorm, falco, sv1000 and duc 900ss

sv1000 won ,

then falco - they seemed to have issues with their one

vtr1000 they felt was too "soft"

duc 1000ss they had nice words for regards handling and presence bit slow

 

I'm trying hard not to take another look at a TDM900 (but I was gunna get a
650 Transalp--actually,I'm supposed to be buying a car...)

Gotta cheap XF Falcon for you here Pat...You'd still be able to afford a

I quite like the TDM ... actually I saw a TRX850 modified into a
desert beastie the other day, should have bought it.

ive heard bad things about the TL motor , nothing bad about the VTR

 

i just like the name...err gudday wodderuridin?...a tedium 850 m8...

 

Really ? Everything I've heard has been very positive (usually couched in
expletives about the rest of the TL, although some TL owners are die hard fans)

Fwiw I've ridden the TLS and Raptor and loved the motor in both guises
