Yeah, the white is a bit ordinary, but a respray wouldn't be expensive.
Yup, have a look at the thread I started the other week about it -
weight was in there - don't have it hand but I think 135Kg or so ?
Seat height will be identical to the 125 (760mm) as it will share
everything except engine and rear shock to compensate for the slightly
higher weight (or more accurately I think it will just be a slightly
uprated spring with the same rear shock). Give me an email address and
I'll send you the pdf of the proposed specs (or better yet, email
Cagiva Aust (Feeny) and ask for them - the more people who ask the more
likely they are to bring it in - although it's LAMs approval that will
"yay or nay" it I suspect.

Oh, it's in Italian - but you should be able to work it out :)
Blasphemy ! That's the exact same fairing styling as the iconic 916 !!

flat foot isnt a requirement to ride :)
looks can be very decieving , you would be very surprised just how far you
    can
ride , a dead sheep helps increase that distance

there is more to consider than just the seat
Its possible that several colours may come
something you need to learn early on that there is more to it than the seat
    height

more important and never mentioned is the width ;)
obviously taste in your arse there ;)
it only matters when you are stopped :)

  4. Ooop! My bad. I was referring to the *Canberra* GS she's riding, not the
    Victorian one.

  5. Have the seat altered. It's only foam and vinyl, and a good motor
trimmer or, better still, John Moorhouse here in Brisbane, can reshape
the contour, narrow the width (big help in getting your toes firmly to
the tar) and lower the height. John can also make the seat
comfortable enough for a full day's riding, instead of an hour or two,
    with half the original padding.

    Educated bums know I'm right.

Wheeeeeeeeeeee! You've made my day - thanks JL. Time to start the campaign
to bring the Mito 500 to Oz - LAMS or not.... (in 10 months I'll be legal
    anyway <grin>)

Thank God for that or I'd be in deep poo.
Yes, all very true - but I'm thinking of all the things that would make up
my perfect bike in a perfect world, and a comfy seat is one of those things
coz I like long rides... (of course, in a perfect world I'd be a willowy
long-legged 5'6" with a shapely but shock-resistant butt, and none of this
would be an issue anyway!) Still, it's nice to dream about a bike that's
tailor-made for me as I am...
Yes, I know - but it's not going to matter how narrow some seats are if
they're really high. The seat height is always the first thing I take note
of, and then I have to do a quick calculation of my inside leg measurement
and the maximum angle I can get to still hold up a bike of x weight
comfortably. And then I'd inquire about how narrow the seat can be made,
and how much comfort I would have to compromise to get to that width...

lol - so I believe! But I do love the foxy pointy look as opposed to the
bull-nose shark look. If I could build a bike that was tailor-made for me it
would have a pointy nose (like me, ha ha ha)
Yeah, dammit! Stopping really sucks.... do you think I'd have a case on
safety grounds if I refused to stop at lights etc (and survived to argue the
point, heh heh)??? (sorry officer, can't stop in case I fall off, byeeeee!)
