  1. Well it's finally happening, 9 years of the K100RT and I've finally
had enough and am getting new bike. ,,,,, as soon as my tax money
    comes in that is.
Apparently I have the endorsment from the better half as the Beemer
    was a poppy bike ;-)

Hopefully this weekend I will be picking it up :)

Hey, weren't you going to give me the K100RT when you moved? Just make sure
it's all rebuilt and serviced when the delivery man drops it off at my
    place.

  9. oh yeah, about that ..... you might have to talk the bloke at the shop
    after I trade it in.
Of course I have to put the tank back on after getting a hole welded ,
19 years playing a plane mechanic and I still can be hand fisted :)

Let me know when the bikes all fixed and ready to deliver......I'll give to
$5, which should be more than the trade in ;-)

  13. I reckon a new bike should mean a week off work for it to get used to
its new human. Call it parental leave or something ...

Good one, mate. Not sure, but I think I remember you posting to another
group many years ago when you got the K100RT.

By the way, how's the eye problems? Hope they haven't got any worse.

  19. Well that's a name from the past. Either you have a fantastic memory,
huge usenet archive, or you;re stalking :)

If the last time you remember me is when I first bought the bike, that
was when I was still in the RAAF, single, and drinking way way too
    much.

Now it's married, mortgages, and a kid.

The RH eye is still crap, when it was tested last week, it was 6/60.
At least they know the name of the cause "Behcets:
