But he doesn't go back and get another when he's no longer hungry.

Sorry mate, ugliness is in the eye of the beholder, but that blue
    thing.......

Well, I suppose, if you are starting from way north Q'land, you'd have
to ride a goodly distance to get any place else.

That's where the Triumph comes in. As beautiful an example of British
design as a Spitfire or a D type Jag...
It's the Ute. Utes aren't meant to be pretty.

I live in North Queensland. Any less and it'd take weeks to get anywhere
    and weeks to get back...

    Ahh, now you're talking beauty.
Then why am I negotiating to buy an SS Holden ute for one of my employees at
    some ridiculous price?

Beats me. I've never understood the "Sports Ute" concept. They may have
sportier equipment but they ain't pretty.

To me, it's like lipstick on a pig.

It's all about FBT, $40K ute, no FBT, no minimum milage, $40K car doing
25000 kms per year, $4400 FBT. Same car doing 24000 kms, $8000 FBT. Shit
    mate, that's $160 a week.
    Send picture of your pig.

Good in winter too, not that you actually have winter up there.

    Oh I dunno about that.

Lived in Townsville for 25 years, once you get used to the humidity,
winter is very real, relatively speaking.

I've just gotta drop 4 or 5 stone and exercise.

My bikes will thank me if I do.

The humid, hot, sweaty summer goes on for about 6 months and then
there's six months of glorious riding weather with a short cold period
for about a month in the middle. I hate summer. I'm a cold weather,
cloudy grey skies type of person.

    It ain't about pretty, it's a good way of shaving 300Kg off a V8
Sedan... same power, less weight, more go. Simple.
