New bike

  1. Any one got a Dragstar 650? There's one in my local dealers and I'm *well*
tempted. Looks pukka to me. Comments?

    Thanks.

    One of these? http://www.barrelbikers.co.uk/rab.html

It's now tarted up, so much so that Rab took it to a custom show and
    won a prize...

    Best Harley in show!

    Speechless with laughter.

WTF did you reappear from? Have I not been paying attention?

& don't encourage the potential cruiser owner. You know it can only lead
    to bum fun.

  7. Bum fun! LOL...better watch watch you say - you may offend others...

Anyway, what's wrong with cruisers? Harleys (and clones) are THE bike icon.
Sports whizz-bangs all look like toys to me!

I am a figment of your imagination, only visible after galloping three
times anti-clockwise round the headless horseman's grave (though
Gertrude and I might put in a cameo appearance at the BOSM).
    Arse.

Roads become challenging at legal speeds, you have to concentrate and
plan ahead in order to make any sort of reasonable progress. If I had
to choose again between my previous Blackbird and my current Drifter,
I'd pick the Drifter every time. No question.

Bear doesn't approve, but he understands why I do it.

    Bugger 'em ;-)
Harleys are for girls. Or for boys that are really girls.

  12. Thanks. I knew about *one* of them, I'll add the other to my
    "careful-what-I-post-about-p**fs" list.

Ok, I'll come clean (watch mind!). I fekkin hate cruisers - I was just
trying to get a feel for the group's opinion. There's a bloke at work who
just bought one (DragQueen 650) and I already knew the general opinions of
most *real* bikers. I'm glad I can point him at this NG so he knows it's
not just me who thinks his bike is a POS :)))

I think you should have the courage of your convictions. If you don't
    like homosexuals, just say so.
    That's interesting.

What's you definition of a "real" biker?

There are a number of out whooley whoofters in UKRM, you should be
more concerned about the closet cases. They outnumber the honest
    poofs.

And plan ahead in order to stop, too (IYSWIM).

I still have no desire to swap my VN for a real bike. Not yet anyway.

  18. Yes but I don't want to offend any more poofs. I already offended one poof
and would like to avoid doing the same with other poofs.

Stop back-pedalling and apologizing, it makes you look like a fucking
    idiot. Get a grip.

I wouldn't think twice about trying to offend you, don't try to NOT
offend me as you're just digging a hole - you think I care. I don't
think the resident queers care what you say to them.

When we're not outside uphill gardening or being poo-hole pirates we
walk around in public just like regular people.

****, I was only having a laugh you fucking poof! (better?)
