Arrives Monday, traded in shite old XLR 125 for '05 plate CBF 600 Hornet.
Got a grand for the XLR and the Hornet was up at £3,200 with 1,800 miles on
it, and he threw in a set of fitted crash mushrooms (I've never ridden over
a 125 so every little helps...). So, expect "Me down" post in the next few
    days...

Cheers everyone who offered advice on the 'which bike' post I did about a
    month ago.

A little light googling suggests around 100 miles to a tank. I'll just fill
up as soon as the light comes on I guess. Revving the tits of it will wait
for at least, you know, a day as I've never actually ridden a 600 before bar
a quick go round the block on this and a quick go round the block on a mates
CBR6. Once I've got those shaky first few miles sorted, then we'll see what
I can get the tank range down to ;-)

    Is that an official euphemism?

  4. Dan ridden gently you will get around 120 per tank until you hit
reserve , ridden hard this figure drops to around 90 ,on the hornet i
had i found that the reserve capacity was not that accurate

Bad form and all - but it arrived. Ye gods it's fast. I know it's not to
most of you, but coming from an XLR 125 and a Pug 206 XSi - it's bloody fast
    :)
