New Bike

I have just bought a Honda ST 70 off a bloke in the pub. Had one one when I
was 17.

Thats all.

 

Cracking little bike. I had one when I was about 13/14. Got it for a tenner
from a mate's dad used to use it as a pit bike. Thrashed/blown up/thrashed
again.....Taught me a lot about maintenance and repair of 4 strokes that
bike did. How much did you get it for?

At 17 you should even have been going to pubs, let alone having blokes
there.

£ 300 , it's complete, running and not in bad nick, needs a new battery, and
the handlebars have been bent inwards so they almost touch! I'll stick them
in a vice and straighten them out then it's off for an MOT.

 

I was tall, I got away with it.

 

I think the bars on my old one were strange individually mounted
'collapsible' bars with a large knurled wheel to undo them. Dave Silver may
even still have NOS parts for these.
