Can't see that anyone else had linked to the iplayer page it was on,
at least not in the 10 mins since it went active.

True. How about "ginge" with a small "g"?

    Yes, and?

Anyway, I thought it was a jolly spiffing yarn, and I for one am looking forward to
    the rest of the series!

I enjoyed that. Brought back memories of visiting Black Country [1]
foundries. Hopefully he'll turn his hand to a bit of drop-forging later
    in the series.

[1] Pretty sure the iron smelting was filmed at the Black Country
Museum, which is well worth a visit.

I assumed so, there can't be many working 18th century foundries in the
Dudley area, right next to a canal. Is the Dudley tunnel passable these
    days?

One-way control and size restrictions. Also trip boats.

Guy Martin is brilliant as a road racer but I really don't need an up
to date Dibnah prattling on about brewing tea as my highlight of the
day. I only get the weekend to catch up on tv I've missed over the
week so I'll give this one a miss.
