New here, BMW r1150GS

    I have two questions please,
    Firstly I have a BMW r1150GS 2000 on a W plate. I need new tyres ver
    soon, any ideas what tyres I could fit that would be more road bia
    than the off road looking tyres already fitted. As I don't intend to d
    much off roading with it as I'm no Ewen or Charlie.
    Second question. The bike has been parked up for a few weeks while
    was off looking around Cuba. It now has the problem of the time cloc
    resetting itself everytime I go to start the bike.The bike has bee
    riden today for about an hour but the fault is still there. Is thi
    just a low battery or something more serious. Oh yeah the bike i
    fitted with a Datatool system 3 alarm.

    Any advice would be greatfully received many thanks.

    Pretty standard tyres for the GS11.5 are Tourances.
