Just out of interest where did you apply? GMAS have just had a big recruitment drive over the past two years, AFAIK they are still taking on. GMAS are big on life experience so your age shouldn't go to much against you. If you managed to get through to your interview, I say well done don't let it get to you. My SO worked in ambulance control it took her 4 attempts to get an interview, most of the people I work with hade tried between 2 and 10 times. Sometimes if they are a bit iffy with you they fail you to see if you will reapply. Its a good job and a great feeling when you finally get there. Ken B12
