    I had a ricey-ride in a twin-turbo Supra that a young acquaintance imported
    via the grey-import network.
    He flogged the bejesus out of it to impress me, but got a bit sulky when I
    pointed out that it would be chewed up & spat out by a nine-grand 250.

    Was ok, but sitting in the "girl's-first-root" position didn't thrill me.

    Nope.. You have to obey the restrictions on *your* licence. If your licence
    says you can ride/drive a certain type of vehicle, you can do it anywhere in
    the country.
