okay. since I have no coveted numers, and even my #TWO appears doomed I
would like to propose a new list #AYR, for all year round riders.

The criteria will be that you have to be able to demonstrate that you
use your bike all year round with no significant break. That includes
all weathers, barring the outright dangerous.

How do I go about making this 'official'?

  3. You just did.

    Yes please.
As my two# will suggest, it's my only form of transport so I ride rain
or shine, wind or hail. Hell I even ride in snow if I need to get somewhere.

How exactly does one demonstrate that? I try to use mine at least once a
week through winter to keep it from siezing up, does that count? :)

    How do you prove this?
Ah! So will there should be a #AYR and #OD listing for those of us who
also go out in outright dangerous conditions[1]?
Dunno, but can I have one please?

Seems a bit pointless to me.

    And rather vague.

I mean I ride my bike all year round, but only when I feel like it.
Like a lot of other people on this group.

I mean Champ and Bonwick will qualify and they're self-confessed winter
    poofs.

If you owned something other then a POS you might appreciate why some
motorbikes are more fun when it's dry and not vaguely like an ice rink ;-)

You don't need a number to do what you should be doing.

IMO there are too many lists now and too many people too eager to
get a number of any kind without the due care and effort required.

I may even rescind my only number and resurrect the NIALDWTBIAL
    list )

    ROTFL!

(BTW, I have your "Falling Off" post from Jan 2001 stuck up in my kitchen,
    and on my desk.
But it didn't stop me falling off, even though I chanted it 3 times a day
whilst facing the nearest Honda dealership.
    I want a refund.)

Yeah but, if you've been on a BOTAFOT, you've got a number whether you like
or not, and whether you wear it in your sig or not. Surely.
