You may be right, although my experience with the Passat so far hasn't been too bad. Well, that's the problem I have with the current car, fixing the costly little Isuzu bits. I've not driven a Mondeo so I've no idea if I'd find it comfy (the tea/cd/whatever holder on the centre console looks to be at elbow height for me).
