Has New Orleans legal tender converted to the Argen-
    tinian Peso?

Surely, this Yamaha Venture owner can't believe this
bike is going to bring 26K American dollars? Regard-
less of what a "great deal" it is.

Maybe it's the extra strobe light additions that result
    in the inflated price.

Maybe.... But, a review moments ago shows that the price
has declined to 22K, and the mileage shown as 12.66K.

Perhaps this is really a lot harder than I suspected. One
would have to record the price and mileage in separate
areas, and then correctly transcribe those values onto
    the listing narrative.

This is probably something better left to a professional.

Yes, you're probably right. But, on the other end of the
over-priced scale, take a look here:
    http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/1616393312.html

    Isn't a 1 owner, '05 GW, with 10.5K miles, worth more
    than $5K ?

Or, is it just some kind of scam ? I'd go have a look at
it if I had garage space for it. Maybe someone here
    would be interested.

The $5K, '05 Gold Wing listing has returned.
    http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/1619576237.html

But, as you can see, it's ask value has increased by
    a mere $20K.

    To quote the narrative:
"Here is your chance to own one of the best model
Gold Wings Honda has ever produced at a fraction
    of the cost of new."

    A pretty bold statement....

Never buy anything from someone who can't spell "is". Except their
    sister.
